So last night I saw the midnight showing for THG

I honestly really REALLY liked it. The beginning was a bit slow, but once things got moving I was entranced. I loved all the actors, Haymitch was perfect and so was Peeta, Effie and Rue! I just wanna love them all! God damn it was intense. 

I have two words. JENNIFER LAWRENCE. She was a perfect Katniss. She looked the part through out everything. Like when she’s about to get in the tube and shes shaking she’s so scared. Good Lord it was good. And when she thought Peeta had eaten the Nightlock and was like “PPEETAA!!?!?!?!” and she was all “dont ever scare me like that again!” and they hugged. 

One of my favorite parts was prabably when Katniss chopped down the Tracker Jacker nest, and Ceaser Flickerman was in her hallucination. It was just too awesome.

RUES DEATH. OMFG it was perfect. I heard that people were saying that part sucked and I was like 

I cried. When it showed Rue’s dad starting the riot and Katniss sobbing. Everything was awesome and everything hurt. 

The cave scene was also really good. I was a little disappointed that Katniss didn’t drug Peeta to go get the medicine. And I didn’t like that Katniss got the mockingjay pin from the place she sells her meat to (i honestly cant think of the name right now. Some fan I am) The Hob? Something like that. 

One other thing I wish was different was the fact that it was rated PG13. I feel like if it was rated R there would have been alot more blood and gore. Thats all I wanted, blood, blood and more blood! Is that to much to ask?

It was alright. The fights where kick ass and the Soundtrack is amazing, the plot itself though was kind of confusing. But hey, maybe this will be lilke when I saw Jennifer’s Body and Hated it and then loved it when I saw it again.
